Pretoria - Church Square

So South Africans are not playing games. They want this monument in the Church square torn down since it is a depiction of the main leader and driving force behind Apartheid, Paul Kruger, (also the same man who Kruger National Park is named after) and his group of men. This is where S.African politicians would come to discuss strategies against Apartheid without being detected so it is considered the first parliament.  The police have to keep the monument surrounded with barb wire and watch guard because folks are doing their best to deface the statues and no one understand why they have yet to remove it. ‪#‎Politics‬ ‪#‎SouthAfrica‬
